3S Incorporated has installed multiple Victaulic Vortex hybrid water mist suppression systems to protect the Combustion Turbines on site at Duke Wheatland. The Vortex system is excellent for this application because of its highly efficient cooling capability combined with its simultaneous ability to inert the atmosphere. The Victaulic Vortex Hybrid Water Mist fire protection system is 100% green and reduces the amount of water damage after the use of a fire suppression system by safely displacing oxygen through the use of high velocity, low pressure discharges of nitrogen and miniscule droplets of water. At this facility we have also upgraded the plant wide fire alarm system to fully integrate all of the field devices back to the plant control center. The systems installed at the Duke Energy Power Plant are designed to effectively protect high hazard environments by quickly and efficiently limiting the spreading of a fire. Systems such as these will work well implemented in other highly hazardous environments. Contact 3S Incorporated for more information to protect your company.
Serving our customers is our #1 priority. With our 24/7 emergency response team, we will be able to help you whenever an issue arises with your fire protection system, no matter when it does.
